My Skincare Routine As A Sensitive Skin Girlie

Skin care products for the ultra sensitive

As someone who breaks out when looking at Dove soap, it’s been a more than a bit of a struggle finding beauty and skin care products that don’t make me break out in hives. I’m talking if I walk past someone with a strong perfume on my throat will close. I have been determined to find products that make me look and feel good, without trips to urgent care. Please enjoy the results of my trial and error! (Obviously if you’re sensitive as well, start with a very small amount to test out products, and never delay in seeking medical attention if symptoms start to show!)

Below is a list of products that I’ve not only had success with, but I absolutely love how soft and glowy my skin looks.

For face wash I have the best results with La Roche-Posay. My face feels actually clean after use without having that tight dry feeling after.

I love to follow up with the La Roche- Posay Serum. I am relieved to say this is super extra sensitive skin approved.

After allowing the serum a few minutes to fully absorb, I use Clinique‘s moisturizer. I was a little hesitant to even try this as it wasn’t explicitly listed as sensitive skin approved the way La Roche Posays products do, but I’m so glad I gave it a try! While i enjoy La Roche- Posay’s moisturizer, Clinique’s feels a little richer, and softer.

While I don’t use it on my face, Bio Oil has been an AMAZING body oil. While most have fragrances that make my system go haywire, or are just way too greasy and don’t feel like they are actually absorbing, I have had such great luck with Bio Oil. I’ve found it works best directly after a shower while the body is still wet!

So there you have it! My current routine! I would love to hear from all of you other sensitive friends and what you have found that works (and what to stay away from!)
